3 in 1 Class Week Begins January 23rd

(3) classes in 1 week.

10 years of in-depth Information,

Fast, but very methodical.

Once you see it, it will stay with you for life.

The Fast Overview is this:

*We build a complete bike.

*We Hand Fabricate a gas tank that you take home, mostly finished.

*We go thru the complete understanding of How to Build a Motorcycle Frame.

A Bit of the Details are here:

We Begin with the Frame, the jigs and fixtures. The benders, what tubing to use, the specifications for buying it.

The ins and outs of the frame design, according to tire size, and the front part of the frame design whether an “up high” chopper or a Long Down Low and Out style. Each one is vastly different in setting up for ride quality.

After all the hard work, it had better ride, so everything is covered in depth.

Rake/rise/stretch, industry standards that are different from if an old timer measuring stuff in the 50′s vs today’s measurement standards based off Softail is an important part of knowing your job, and measuring it right the first time. Here you don’t want any mistakes as parts bought and laying in the corner, purchased/measured wrong, will cost you a lot of money. In case you haven’t noticed, these motorcycle parts are not cheap …

That will probably cover the frame, will take a couple of days of work.

We will then walk up to the Handee Lift Table and set up a frame.

But this time, I’ve decided we will use and build/rebuild the Discovery Channel Great Biker Build-off Bike, the Get-er-Done…It’s a total hand-made custom with plenty of upper end technology you would probably never see anywhere else. The bike will build fast and is a hands-on experience, YOU Build the Bike. (takes a couple of days)

We will cover the production Amen Frame which is a softail suspension set-up so you can get acquainted with these designs. This will round out all the different frame styles

The last session is the Gas Tank Fabrication class. We will build a tank, take it home. The main thing I’ll teach here is:

What is the metal trying to “tell” you. You did this….IT DID THAT…. Now what. A very good learning experience. You will “see” that steel gas tank top look like it’s not worthy of even being tossed into the trash can…BUT…When you’re done, It MAY HAVE turned out like you wanted, and all that hard work has turned into something Quite Valuable….a very satisfying experience.

The best part of Tank Building…$3.00 worth of steel, maybe…could be worth a cool $1000.00….a THOUSAND DOLLAR BILL…

Tired of typing, rather talk. I will continue on with dates shortly and will try a few dates out with you shortly.
